Who am I? I’m a longtime libertarian and Libertarian, a teacher, and a geek in Southern California. This site exists primarily to house my political writings, and add them to the conversation of the world.

Probably. I don’t expect much in the way of real anonymity.
Then why…?
Use a pen name? Because of the influence teachers wield I’m a great believer in keeping my politics as far away from my classroom as possible, no matter how much I believe them. The pen name is just one extra layer of padding between me and google search. Everyone knows what I’m up to though.
